TWO POETS AND A LITERARY HISTORIAN!!!
Ted King. For audience safety reasons, Ted King prefers to read only where seats are equipped with seat belts and oxygen masks. Ted King is a Jazz Poet. He is the author of six chapbooks, twenty poetry videos, and a word jazz CD and he has been broadly published in literary journals. His latest book, MODERN PROBLEMS, is available here tonight.
William Reichard is the author of eight collections of poetry, including In the Evening (2024) and Our Delicate Barricades Downed (2021) both from Broadstone Books. He’s the editor of American Tensions: Literature of Identity and the Search for Social Justice (New Village Press, 2011). Reichard is an English instructor at Inver Hills Community College.
Mark Gustafson has a new book—Sowing Seeds: The Minnesota Literary Renaissance & Robert Bly, just out from Calumet Editions. His previous book, Born Under the Sign of Odin: The Life & Times of Robert Bly’s Little Magazine & Small Press, came out in 2021. He was a Classics professor for 30 years, teaching Latin and Ancient Greek. He walks along the Mississippi River gorge—on the Minneapolis side—every day when he is not at his cabin on Leech Lake.

The Walden Club
Elevate your stay in Chattanooga, Tennessee by visiting The Walden Club.
In 1975, a select group of Chattanooga business and community leaders had a vision. That vision was of a fine private city club located high atop the tallest building in the heart of the city. They wanted to create “a place of privilege where Members will receive great food, personal service, and enjoy a sky‐high view of Chattanooga.”
Unlike the other clubs in Chattanooga, Membership would be available to quality individuals without consideration of their race, sex, creed, or long local lineage. They felt strongly that Chattanooga needed and deserved a fine club that crossed these barriers. Firmly committed to their common goal, they began to build a prestigious Membership roster and plans were drawn up for the club quarters.
For more information on The Walden Club please visit their page: https://www.universityclubofstpaul.com/reciprocal-areas/tennessee
Through the club's reciprocal agreement, all members of the University Club of Saint Paul are welcome to visit The Walden Club.
